The Green Mountain Club knew it had a difficult hill to climb when it undertook raising more than $1 million to construct a new pedestrian bridge across the Winooski River. To help with the effort, I produced a fundraising video that made the case for the new bridge and appealed for donations. The GMC featured the video on its website, in email blasts, and on social media, getting almost 3,000 views. A follow-up video updating club members on the project’s progress was viewed almost 2,000 times. Together, the two videos played a key role in the fundraising campaign achieving its goal and the bridge opening in 2015.
